The red wine »Muschelkalk« Freyburg Portugieser trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Grober Feetz has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Portugieser from the region Saale-Unstrut in Germany.
The aroma is reminiscent of dark chocolate with rum soaked raisins. The mouth reveals a wine of excellent density, the tannin seems grown-up, but definitely extends claws and gives a fantasy of ripeness. The rich cherry fruit on the finish confirms this.
