The white wine »Hildegard« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Hauck has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Apple and pear on the nose, with some yellow fruit and meadow herbs too. It's juicy on the palate with some fine spice and a ripe acidity structure. Earthy, mineral notes emerge, wrapped up in the slender palate, and make for a bottle that's best drunk with food. A lot of wine for the money!
