The white wine Westhofen Kirchspiel Grauburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Helmut Geil has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Fine and elegant nose, only delicately marked by seven months of barrique ageing, pear, almond, mustard seed, some vanilla. Tactile and supple on the palate, but precise and quite demanding in its acidity. The rare case of a slender density, still has room for improvement!
