The red wine Spätburgunder Kirchberg, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Hemmes has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Strong woody-spicy aroma, cherry, Ricola herbal sugar, soft on the palate, creamy, then characterised by plump, soft tannins, ripe acidity, slightly salty notes, in the finish the tannins, which are mellow in themselves, grip a little more firmly, accompanied by juicy and fruity notes. Good certain ageing potential.
