The white wine »Max Klinger Terrassen« Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Herzer has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Saale-Unstrut in Germany.
Grapefruit and tropical fruits, dried mango, but also spicy limestone notes, and balsamic undertones. The palate has a robust structure and is characterised by taut phenolics and distinctive peppery and spicy aromas of the terroir. It appears very young overall, with excellent ageing potential.
