The white wine Weißburgunder »Fassgereift« trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Hornstein has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Lindau (Bodensee) in Germany.
Mineral and savoury, spicy, also floral on the nose, hazelnut. On the palate, the wine is dense, taut, but also shows a certain fullness, a successful combination of substance and softness. The finish reveals aromas of white flowers, but the mineral character emerges again, with peppery and intense rock flour notes.
