The white wine Südtirol Gewürztraminer Kolbenhof DOC, vintage 2014 from the winery J. Hofstätter has been rated in 2015 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Radiant, rich straw yellow in colour. Fine and balanced aromas of lychee, yellow roses, cloves and papaya on the nose. Spreads powerfully on the palate thanks to plenty of ripe fruit, gaining more and more depth as it progresses as well as some fine mineral components that bring complexity. A very long, spiced finish.
