The white wine Viognier Reserve trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Kilian Hunn has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Viognier from the region Baden in Germany.
Nutty, slightly roasted new wood on the nose and a still restrained spiciness. On the palate, a taut acidity contrasts with the full-bodied, almost massive structure. The good substance builds a bridge between alcohol and acidity. Very good length. Still seems quite closed at the moment, but the certain ageing potential is unmistakable.
