The white wine »OX« Grauburgunder, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Kuhn has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Pale orange in colour. The aroma is initially iodized, an undertone almost like Islay whiskey, but then there is also a fruitiness of candied orange peel and jelly fruit. The palate has silky to fine-grained phenolics in the right quantity, a ripe, well-integrated acidity, extract sweetness and slight viscosity bind the structure. An original, individual Pinot Gris with good certain ageing potential.
