Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim brightening. Spicy nuances of oak, delicate vanilla, coconut and liquorice, fine black berry fruit, nougat notes. Powerful, taut, fine sweetness, a hint of bourbon vanilla, lively structure, ripe tannins, mineral-salty, shows very good length, some bitter chocolate, will benefit from bottle ageing.
