The white wine »Basis« Riesling feinherb, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Lamm-Jung has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Lots of stone fruit from vineyard peaches and well-ripened apricots on the nose. Melting and round on the palate. The subtle residual sweetness, which harmoniously accompanies the acidity, is also very nice. Good finish.
More about the tastingA fruity bouquet of white currant, peach, Granny Smith and some citrus. In the mouth, the wine has a nice sweetness-acidity interplay in a juicy, lean body. An appetising tipple with good length and a slightly salty finish.
