Deep ruby colour, purple reflections, delicate ochre rim. Underlaid with fine herbal spices, red cherries, some cranberries and plums, mandarin zest. Juicy, appears relatively light-footed, cherry-like, ripe tannins, a lively food companion, red berry-mineral aftertaste, certain ageing potential.
