Tasting from 28.05.2019: Ulrich Sautter

On the nose a smoky oak character and some yeast. Full-bodied on the palate, a generous layer of silky phenolics, lively acidity, aromatically still closed but with recognizable ageing potential. A pinot blanc that captivates not with volume and sweetness, but with fruit and depth. It has a mineral background and a slightly peppery finish. Excellent!
