The red wine Spätburgunder Barrique trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Lithos has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Mittelrhein in Germany.
On the nose, an appealing bouquet of red cherry, cassis and slightly resinous notes; the palate has clear fruit expression and a medium, juicy body, supported by fine, ripe acidity. Underpinned by fine minerality, this is quite an elegant wine, with good prospects.
