The white wine »Große Lage« Forst Ungeheuer Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Margarethenhof has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
A complex bouquet of lemon balm, grapefruit, apricot and peach, plus some grass and honeysuckle. On the palate the tactile minerality and striking acidity balance the ripe citrus fruit and vivid peach fruit. Pleasant light phenolics provide good length.
