The white wine »Erste Lage« Forst Stift Riesling trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Margarethenhof has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Brioche, lime blossom, honeydew melon, wormwood and sage are combined in the intense bouquet. On the palate, minerality and acidity merge with a tropical potpourri. The wine is easy to drink and lively on the palate. A vegetable lasagne is certainly a suitable accompaniment.
