The orange wine »Schiefer« Riesling Landwein trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Meier has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Light amber in colour, with sage, dried apricot and subtle malty notes on the nose, also wormwood. On the palate there is less drive but plenty of content; ripe acidity, powerful tannins and phenolics, good density and a mineral hue.
