The red wine »Handgemacht« Cuvée trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Michael Schroth has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Concentrated and dark red in colour. Attractive on the nose with aromas of red bell pepper, plum and cassis. Good acidity on the palate, still young but fine tannins, a smoky note and again complex fruit. Long finish and lots of certain ageing potential.
