The blanc de noirs »Surprise« Blanc de Noir trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Münzenberger has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
The white-pressed Pinot Noir is actually indistinguishable from a Pinot Blanc in terms of colour. Subtle nose, little primary fruit, some almonds and apple. Very clear white wine on the palate too, certain viscosity, lime blossom, savouriness. A versatile wine for the table.
