The red wine »Glockenspiel Réserve«, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Neiss has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points.
Behind woody savoury notes, aromas of wild raspberry, currant and rosehip appear, also toasted almonds, marinated beet, wet leaves, smoke. Soft on the palate with a silky base on which the fruit substance elegantly unfolds. First, notes of ripeness and fine-grained tannins, then vivid acidity; a reserve that displays its rich content and substance in a supple way.
