The white wine Im Sonnenschein Chardonnay, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Johannes Kleinmann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Still closed on the nose, with aromas of yeast, some popcorn, sunflower seeds, pear, melon, pumpkin skin, fine oak savouriness and minerality. No lightweight on the palate, it has a powerful structure underpinned by the minerality of the site. Dry, dense extract; long and consistent.
