The white wine »Traditon 1720« Grauer Burgunder Auslese, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Moselle in Germany.
A subtle hint of wood accentuates the ripe fruit of the Spätlese or Auslese type, with notes of blood orange, blueberry, and a hint of mirabelle plum. On the palate, the wine has a stature befitting the Auslese predicate: with powerful substance, plenty of volume, firm acidity, integrated alcohol and a concentrated fruit on the finish. The tactile minerality is very intense.
