The red wine Amistar Edizione Vino Rosso, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Peter Sölva has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Lagrein from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
It has a rich, bright ruby colour, with purple reflections, and an impenetrable core. There are intense aromas of ripe blackberry and cassis, paired with light peppery spiciness, and eucalyptus on the finish. It unfolds comfortably over the tongue, with an expressive body, fine velvety tannins, a fine polish, and a delicate creaminess and juiciness. It is a very harmonious wine.
