Bright ruby, with glints of purple. Appealing nose, with notes of dark currants, some pomegranate and sweet grapes, plus rich savoury notes. Substantial on the palate, with well-defined tannins, good texture, plus dark fruit, then quite a lot of caramel on the finish.
