Tasting Notes
Subtle golden yellow, ripe savouriness on the nose, pear, some nutmeg, fine savouriness, the stony minerality of the soil. An amalgam of density, savouriness, integrated freshness, vintage-related fruit sweetness and minerality on the palate. This is what Ruländer from 2022 tastes like!
More about the tastingButtery tones in the fragrance, also some wood. Aniseed bread rolls. With air contact also slightly mineral-spicy. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, very tactile and mineral, yet bundled and long for all its richness. The "Ruländer" is recognisable with a hint of mellowness and generosity, but it does not let go of the reins. Great length.
