The white wine »Grande« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Rothe has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
A fine first ripeness in the fragrance, which lets you discover new flavours again and again: Meadow herbs, hay, black sesame, but also yellow-fruity tones. There is also a smoky shell limestone note. In the mouth, the wine has a straightforward structure, juicy, with fine phenolics, savoury, fresh and full of tension, Franconian dry.
