The white wine Astheim Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Rudolf Fürst has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Franconia in Germany.
Slightly reductive and attractively defined on the nose, with aromas of yellow apple, Meyer lemon, pineapple and also a touch of chalk. On the palate a potpourri of yellow fruit is on show, with a citrus component as well. A grandiose acid arc leads to a salty-mineral, long finish.
