Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby garnet with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a slight watery edge. The nose brings a pleasant noble wood savouriness, liquorice and black cherries, underlaid with olives and nougat. There's a subtle smoked and herbal character that's typical of the variety. On the palate, juicy black berry fruit, a discreet fruit sweetness, and clear wood note thanks to the vivid tannins. Lingers well, and will benefit from additional ageing.
