Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet with an opaque core and purple reflections. A hint of rim brightening suggests age. Intense savoury nuances on the nose, with black berry fruit, liquorice and sea buckthorn underlaid by vanilla and fine woody notes. It's similarly powerful and savoury on the palate, with a core of ripe cherries, well-integrated tannins and a dark minerality. The palate lingers well and makes for a full-bodied food companion with certain ageing potential.
