Tasting Notes
Strong new oak, but behind it a balsamic spicy varietal type announces itself, honeydew melon. Good integration of the ripe mealy phenolic components into the supple richness, seamlessly integrated acidity, compact and slightly salty finish. It has good ageing potential.
More about the tastingSmoke, roasted aromas, quince, pear, melon and herbs on the nose. Lean and firm, not a baroque Pinot Noir type, but athletic and sinewy, good tension, but also juicy and elegant, with a salty undertone. An individualistic Pinot Gris with style.
