On the nose there are aromas of savoury oak, spicy biscuit, and Russian bread, along with pungent mineral undertones. It has a nice texture, an oak-enhanced character, nice juice, freshness, and tension. Yet there is also a Pinot Gris fullness, good substance and an elegant handling of the oak.
