The red wine Meissner Klausenberg Dunkelfelder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Schuh has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Dunkelfelder from the region Saxony in Germany.
Almost impenetrable in colour. On the nose, there is a lush fruit of blackberry, elderberry and forest honey as well as vanilla tones from the use of wood. In the mouth, the wine develops some power, dense, mealy tannins that are beginning to mellow dominate the structure, the acidity carries the powerful body, which is fueled by somewhat noticeable alcohol.
