The red wine »vogelfrei« Merlot trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Siegloch has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Varietal notes on the nose, boxwood, plum, blackcurrant, tarragon. Substantial on the palate, ripe, with a sweet-like extraction, with good balance and spicy notes. At the moment, very fruit-forward and drinking wonderfully well, but also with good ageing potential.
