The orange wine »Sandhase« Riesling trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Siegloch has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Württemberg in Germany.
It has a honey yellow colour, although somewhat cloudy. There is plenty of spice on the nose, with aromas of eucalyptus, tangerine, smoke, and honey. On the palate there are fine tannins, a ripe acidity, along with quince, grated apple, and a dense structure. It has a very cultivated spontaneous fermentation, and good length, and it is lots of fun, and great with food.
