The orange wine »Sandhase« Riesling trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Siegloch has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany.
Where the "Baby Sandhase" is still restrained, the "Sandhase" is mature and powerful. Herbaceous and slightly ethereal on the nose, with notes of mint, cardamom and pear. The tannin is pronounced on the palate, but remains elegant and makes the Riesling a super-interesting accompaniment to food.
