The red wine V.I.B. Very Important Bottle, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Taferner has been rated in 2020 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Carnuntum in Austria.
Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, faint brightening on the rim. Delicate noble wood notes, bourbon vanilla and dill, black cherry, dark forest berries and candied orange zest. Powerful and juicy with red cherry fruit, freshly structured with supporting, ripe tannins. Nougat on the finish and very long. Safe ageing potential.
