It has a dark ruby colour, with an opaque core, purple reflections, and a subtle ochre rim. There are aromas of black berryish fruit with a hint of mint, nougat, and fine oak, it has a highly attractive bouquet. It is juicy, complex, with lovely sweet berry fruit, ripe rounded tannins, some minerality, and a fine chocolate touch on the finish. It has very good length, and also great ageing potential.
