The white wine »Wurzelfieber TM« Gewürztraminer trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Theo Minges has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Gewürztraminer from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Light golden colour. A veritable cloud of terpenes on the nose: bergamot, rose, clove oil and candied orange peel, as well as black tea. The palate opens buttery soft, flows oily and supple, underpinned with the finest phenolics, a mild acidity carries the powerful body, the wine lingers savoury but unobtrusive.
