The white wine »Kalkmergel« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2024 from the winery Weingut Theo Minges has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Lemon zest, some yellow fruit, mustard flour on the nose. On the palate, the Chardonnay remains calm, delicately juicy with pear flavours and quite powerful. As with all Minges wines, however, a phenolics stopper ensures that the wine never appears complacent and retains tension.
