Dark ruby garnet with purple reflections and a touch of rim brightening. Finely spiced black berry fruit on the nose - in particular ripe heart cherries and plums - underlaid by nougatty notes. The palate is compact, with juicy blackberry and vivid, well-integrated tannins. There's a chocolaty touch to the cherry-driven finish. Already gluggable, and has good ageing potential.
