Deep dark ruby, ochre reflections, broad watery rim. Subtle wood savouriness, notes of caramel and toffee, a hint of plums, ripe cherry fruit, candied violets. Juicy, good complexity, chocolatey, blackberry notes in the finish, olives in the aftertaste, finely spicy with a touch of cardamom in the aftertaste, good food wine with certain ageing potential.
