The white wine Riesling Herrenberg, Wawern, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut von Othegraven has been rated in 2012 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Strong white gold. Tropical fruit with floral notes and elegant slate spice, clear and aromatic. Creamy elegance, spontaneously spicy notes, intense and quite sweet, powerful, very long and concentrated, but still with play. Still needs a lot of time to become more refined and less fruit-intensive. Still somewhat bitter in the clear yeasty note on the finish.
