The white wine »500« Sauvignon Blanc trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
On the nose, the wine shows a toasty, nutty wood, with notes of grapefruit, cassis and pomelo, peanut. The palate unites suppleness and substance, the oak is very well integrated, as is the acidity, everything stands on a foundation of tactile minerality.
