The red wine »Bisserheim« Spätburgunder, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Wageck Pfaffmann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Wild raspberry, red currant, wild strawberry, malt and elderberry, also fresh herbs and spices, pine needles. On the palate, powerful tannins, with a graininess that is only beginning to soften, intense chalky notes and a ripe acidity, savoury notes of fruit, a powerful finish.
