Lots of smoke and roasted notes on the nose, roasted hazelnut, roasted yellow peppers, blackcurrants, chamomile, cardamom. Taut and dense on the palate, full-bodied and gripping, a refined ripe acidity, pithy phenolics, juicy fruit, lemons, limes, white grapefruit, a Sauvignon with power and ageing potential.
