The sweet and dessert wine Opitz One ZW, vintage 2009 from the winery Opitz Fine Wines has been rated in 2012 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Zweigelt from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep carmine garnet colour, ochre rim. Delicately smoky-tobacco flavours of dried plums, dark milk caramel, lots of honey, herbal savouriness, amarone-like bouquet. Juicy, chocolatey texture, delicate hints of smoke and strawberry confit, very individualistic drinking experience, silky finish, lingers for a long time.
