The red wine Neusiedlersee DAC, vintage 2011 from the winery Opitz Fine Wines has been rated in 2013 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Zierfandler from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Dark ruby-garnet color with violet highlights and a delicate lightening at the rim. Hints of fresh plums, underpinned by a delicate blackberry jam note, with subtle herbal spice. Juicy, chocolatey texture, ripe dark berry fruit, subtle sweetness on the finish, already very drinkable, with cherries lingering in the aftertaste.
