The red wine »X« Untertürkheim trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Wöhrwag has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Württemberg in Germany.
The aroma alone reveals that this is a meaty and full-bodied contemporary wine. There are aromas of cherry confit, dark chocolate, plum and sourdough bread. The palate is balanced by grippy tannins and acidity, although I would definitely leave this wine to mature for some time.
