The sweet and dessert wine »Edition Zähringer Löwe Nr. 20 Millennium« Grauburgunder Beerenauslese, vintage 1999 from the winery Weingut Zähringer has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 - 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Amber colour. Aromas of dried fruit, quince, apricot, but also raisins, slightly salty notes, hazelnut and caramel, reminiscent of sherry. On the palate, a lot of traction and force, noticeable alcohol, nut and almond notes, densely woven, a well-integrated sweetness, great maturity, very unique.
