The white wine »ORANGE« Weissburgunder trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Zähringer has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Golden in colour. Balsamic on the nose, orange confit with malt whiskey. In the mouth, the wine has an almost charming phenolic structure, the creamy base of the wine seamlessly binds the tannins, a ripe but supporting acidity gives tension to the rounding and takes away the heaviness. An orange wine that is very cleanly crafted and does not scare anyone.
